click the insert hyperlink button(world with infinity symbol icon) it will then make something that looks like what i have below except with [] inplace of the <> which i cant do cuz it would transform it

Nobody more experienced has to explain it, you have to follow the directions. He said to replace the < and > with [ and ] and you didn't.
